Our felt "Finke" slippers (or house shoes) offer the perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and natural breathability for your feet. Made from 100% natural wool, these slippers regulate temperature and wick moisture away, keeping your feet cozy and dry in any season—whether you're wearing them with socks or going barefoot. Wool's breathable, moisture-wicking properties ensure your feet stay comfortable all day long.
Finke is a Swiss-German word for slippers, a tradition brought to Canada by my parents, who immigrated from Switzerland. Growing up in an old farmhouse, we always appreciated the comfort of warm feet, a value I carry forward through Revolution Wool Company and the high-quality, locally made products we offer. As a Swiss-Canadian, I cherish craftsmanship and local production, and that spirit is woven into every pair of these slippers.
The upper layer is made using a wet-felting process for durability, flexibility, and longevity. The mid-layer is crafted from needle-felted wool sourced from our family farm and local Ontario farms. The Dorset and Rideau-Arcott wool from our farm provides a soft yet sturdy cushion, perfect for footwear. The non-marking rubber sole offers excellent grip and moisture resistance, making these slippers ideal for indoor use, with a quick trip to the deck or garage just fine.
Attention to detail and quality stitching ensure that these slippers stand up to everyday wear, while the wool remains a sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable material—kind to both your feet and the environment.

See our fit guide picture, measure the length and width of your feet.
To start you want your wool slippers to feel snug. As you wear them they will stretch and mold to you feet. This natural stretching is also great for wide feet! The approximate measurement is taken from the heel to the big toe.
Example: I wear a small for size 8.5 wide feet while barefoot. A medium is more ideal if I wear socks or want more space for my toes.

Wool is naturally self-cleaning and odor-resistant, making it easy to keep your slippers fresh. Regular airing and sunshine help maintain their freshness.
For stains or soiling, spot clean with a damp cloth and a gentle wool-specific soap like Eucalan. Allow them to dry fully before wearing again. While machine washing is not recommended, you may wash them on a gentle or wool cycle with cold water and wool detergent if heavily soiled. DO NOT use the dryer, air dry only.
Some fiber shedding may occur initially—this is normal. Simply vacuum or shake them outside to remove loose fibers.
