Wool grown on our family farm, milled into yarn at a Canadian mill and naturally dyed! Our yarn is minimally processed without the use of any harsh chemicals leaving desirable natural characteristics behind. You will notice a pleasing toothy feel with touches of lanolin. Our medium-weight yarn is ideal for any cozy project that comes to mind! Our Dorset and crossbreed farm yarn produces lofty and durable wool yarn yet soft enough to be next to the skin. Garments hold their shape and will last for generations while being easy to care for.
Dyed by hand in small lots. Dyed using local plants and botanicals and sustainability sources natural dyes. Due to their naturally dyed nature, there is a slight dynamic range of tones to choose from. If purchasing for a larger project ensure you get enough as other lots may not be a colour match. Custom dyed lots are available upon request!

This yarn is one of my favourite go-to yarns for many different projects, from cardigans to tuques to blankets and coats. This yarn blooms really nicely during the finishing (washing/blocking) process, and the resultant fabric has a very nice hand in many different stitch patterns.
Amazing yarn! Can’t wait to weave with it!
