Wool adds the perfect comfort factors to your mattress to help improve your sleep:
- Temperature regulation to keep you warm in the cooler months and cool in the heat
- Hypoallergenic
- Wicks away excess moisture on hot nights
- Antimicrobial and antibacterial properties inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould, and mildew
- Sustainable material with natural properties scientifically proven to support your overall health
Our pure wool mattress pads are simple and easy to use. The felted 100% wool pad holds itself together and has enough grip on it to prevent it from sliding around on your bed. No extra cover or elastics needed. Just pure wool, working its wonders.
Simply place the pad on your mattress and cover with your favourite all natural sheets. Place the fluffier side down towards the mattress and the more firm, patterned, side up. If you are worried about spills or moisture (kids or pets) add a mattress protector between your wool pad and fitted sheet. Using a wool mattress pad will help extend the lifespan of your mattress.
When you buy a Revolution wool product, you support Canadian farmers. As always 100% proudly grown, milled and made locally in Ontario Canada!

Care Guide
Care Guide
Caring for a wool pillow is easy. Please ensure you follow these instructions as carefully as possible, it is important to always use only lukewarm water, be gentle, and never agitate wool. This will cause the wool to felt and become clumpy.
Always use quality bedding and sheets to cover and help protect the wool mattress pad. Because wool is self cleaning, naturally resisting odours, bacteria and allergens. You don't need to wash your mattress pad unless it gets heavily soiled or spilt on. Avoid washing your mattress pad unless absolutely necessary and try doing a gentle spot wash on any soiled areas first (gently soak the area in a sink like described below).
Regular care
Every few months air out your wool mattress in the sunshine or fresh air; while washing the rest of your bedding is a good time. Some of the natural oils from the sheep remain in the wool after processing, you may notice a gentle scent. Tip: We love adding a few drops of essential oils for some added freshness at this time!
Deep cleaning
- Fill a large sink or bathtub with lukewarm water adding a small amount of wool specific detergent like Eucalan (available here).
- Fold your mattress pad together with the softer/ fluffier side inwards to allow for easier maneuvering.
Please note: it is important to keep the softer side inwards as it has looser wool and needs to be folded to help maintain the structure of the wool
- Gently press your mattress pad into the water to submerge. Allow it to soak for 10-15 minutes.
- Repeat a gentle pressing and squashing motion up and down in the water. Ensure you never agitate wool, this will cause the wool to felt or come apart.
- Repeat as needed until the water runs clear.
- Wool holds an amazing amount of water. Let as much drain off on its own and try not to lift the pad as this may pull apart the structure of the wool.
- Gently fold together and squeeze out as much water as possible. Use a bowl or tub, to avoid dripping, and move to an outdoor area or in an area where the floor is ok to get wet. Carefully hang and allow to air dry.
Please ensure you follow these instructions as carefully as possible, it is important to always use only lukewarm water and be gentle and never agitate or rub the wool. This will always cause the wool to felt and become clumpy or break away.

Feels great so far…very new still
I bought a mattress pad a couple of months ago because I was waking up hot at night. Since I put it on my bed I haven't waken up covered in sweat.
It doesn't move around on the bed and it is comfortable and cozy to sleep on. I am very pleased with the wool mattress pad.
Love it!! Much better than previous down filled topper - it was way too thick!!
The simple felted pad is easy to place on the mattress and cover with a sheet. Not too thick, and stays in place. Super comfy and cozy!
I bought an Endy bed and was having trouble sleeping because it got too hot. Instead of returning it I thought I'd try a wool mattress pad first and it worked. It has added enough breathability to cool the mattress down significantly. Thanks!
