Sourced from happy sheep on our family farm, then milled and crafted in Ontario for premium quality and sustainability.
I purchased a custom size 3/8" thick wool felt sheet so I could further customise it to the surface shape of my ironing board. I have had plenty of use of the wool felt sheet on my ironing board already as I am a student tailor. The results are exactly what I had hoped to expect.
The use of wool felt sheet on the ironing board reduces ironing time by retaining the heat from the steam and sending it back, so both sides of the fabric are more efficiently done. As they state, wool is a natural animal by-product and as such gets a low wet animal smell when steamed. But, I find it quite familiar and reminiscent and not at all unpleasant.
The order was correctly and efficiently filled and shipped to me in less than a week.
The next best thing is I am supporting a local farmer in Ontario!
