Our natural wool batting is the perfect choice for quilting, bedding, and craft projects that require a soft, lofty, and breathable layer. Made from 100% Canadian wool, this batting offers a plush feel with gentle resilience, making it ideal for hand quilting, machine quilting, duvets, and pillow stuffing. Unlike felted wool battings, this version retains a looser, more flexible structure, providing warmth and comfort without excessive density.

Order the wool batting pieces to make a pillow and decided we needed to order more so we can hand them out for christmas gifts for teachers this year!
I bought this in order to make a bed roll for an uncomfortable cot I use when traveling to relatives for the holidays. I sandwiched it between cotton quilt batting to stabilize it and then sewed up some natural linen fabric for the shell. I tied it every 7” with linen yarn to keep the whole thing from shifting. I LOVE IT! It’s so comfortable that I use it on the sofa too because it’s much nicer than sitting on the synthetic sofa upholstery. I also made a little cushion for my Pomeranian’s kennel out of a scrap. I am probably going to make another one for a permanent sofa topper. It’s that nice!
I purchased this wool batting for some wet felting projects I am working on, and would highly recommend it to others.
The batting is lovely and soft, as well as a nice and even thickness.
Happy to support this high quantity Canadian company!
This was the first time as an amateur quilt maker that I used a wool filling from this company. It is gorgeous!! Soft fluffy but easy to work with. Cool in summer, warm in winter. We went out to the farm. Visited with the sheep and the buying process was friendly and efficient. My grandaughter in Scotland UK is going to love this quilt🙂
I'm a needle felter and have worked with batting before, but never with a product that is so easy to use. I can tear strips off in any width I need or take off large pieces when working on a flat project. It felts so quickly that it's a dream to use. I have already put in my next order for both batting and roving. It's my new "go-to" for core wool!
