The countdown is on at our house: March Break is just around the corner! (I know, I know, it's just the first few days of March..)
And while my kids are growing and the break looks a little less like “how do I keep them busy until supper” and a little more like extra help in the barn before driving them to a friends', I can still resonate with finding activities to keep little ones busy (especially in a winter of never-ending snow days).
With that in mind, I’ve put together a small activity package for you to download for your little lambs at home to stay busy. This package includes:
- Sheep fun facts
-
Colouring pages + Activity Sheets
You can Download the activity sheets and fact sheets here!
If you’ve got some older kids at home who like to craft, we also have some beginner friendly fibre projects in our shop, like our needle felting (2D and 3D) and crochet kits. Both come with instructions for just getting started, but there are lots of videos online to help too if they want to make it their own! Order this week and I’ll do my best to get them shipped to arrive over the break.

And of course, if your march break plans includes getting some snuggles in on the couch (get them while they’re young!) with a movie, we’re here to help with that too. Our wool blankets are great for mid-day movies with a bowl of popcorn and can be used as bedding too for this perpetual winter.
Or, if your kids are like my boys and just want to spend all their day outside, be sure to pick them out a pair of our wool socks or wool insoles. Since switching to them I haven't yet had my kids come inside because "their feet are tooooo cold!". Pro tip: They're also great for arena kids (and arena moms) too.
If you have any questions about sheep, crafts with fibre, or anything wool, please feel free to reach out! Until then,
