Roving Puck/ Plotulopi Yarn

A Canadian classic! Also known as "Plotulopi" or "Lopi" this "pre-yarn" is 5 strands of thin roving that would have been spun to finished yarn. It is worked together to create a bulky and thick knit/ crochet.

Great for making thick and warm Cowichan sweaters and toasty warm mittens or hats. Easy to ply split and add in some coloured yarn too.

155 yards on 8oz/ 225g roll.

11 sts = 4" (10cm) on 7.5mm needles.
